Dr. James H. Mitchener
A Jamestown native, Dr. Mitchener received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the State Univeristy of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, after which he completed his General Practice Residency at Erie County Medical Center (ECMC). Following his residency, Dr. Mitchener worked briefly as an associate before starting his own dental practice, which is now Southern Tier Family Dentistry, PC. Dr. Mitchener’s plan for Southern Tier Family Dentistry was, and always has been, to offer the highest level of comprehensive care using modern dental techniques.
Dr. Winchester L. Stuart
Dr. Stuart is a graduate of the University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine and completed his residency at Erie County Medical Center. When attending dental school and residency, Dr. Stuart fell in love with the Southern Tier because of the area’s beauty and wonderful people. He married his wonderful wife and has two children. Though he has experience in all aspects of general dentistry, Dr. Stuart is focused particularly on restorative dentistry, oral surgery, removable prosthodontics, and oral cancer diagnosis and management. Dr Stuart has completed extensive training in implant placement and management.
